Testimonials

Testimonial #1

We did not know much about summer camps. We wanted our child to have a two week camp experience while we stayed in Chicago. Charlie helped us learn about so many options. We did it all ourselves without the help of any third party agency.

Testimonial #2

Charlie really knows about boarding schools. He went to one. His kids went to one. He was the Director of one and he has helped many Chinese speaking families understand the range of options from the most competitive to those that have almost all international students.

Testimonial #3

When we had a call about our child being in trouble at his boarding school, we needed advice quickly. We never had dealt with a school discipline issue. Charlie helped us to understand the school policies and be prepared for the difficult meetings we had with the school. He also talked to our son about what happened in a very useful way to help us as a family deal with this issue. He was understanding and caring as we handled this very hard family issue with the school.

Testimonial #4

Charlie helped my son understand the differences between a liberal arts college and university as we looked for a good fit. He wanted to not be in a major city but wanted to be close to one and a good airport with direct connections home.

Testimonial #5

We paid a fortune to an agent and realized the agent was being paid by the schools as well. We felt like we were a number and did not get the customized help we thought we should. Charlie helped us know the right questions to ask the agency and how to get the most for our huge annual fees for boarding school.

Testimonial #6

We wanted to work with an agency. Charlie reviewed the proposals we got and interviewed the agencies for us to help us make the best selection.

Testimonial #7

Charlie talked to me for a few coaching sessions before starting graduate school. We talked about building relationships with my advisor and other students.

Testimonial #8

My family wanted me to get an agent for graduate school help and I did not want to work with an agency. Charlie in just a few sessions helped review my applications and talk about the differences of the programs I was considering. He asked me questions to help me better understand what I wanted to really do and gain from graduate studies.
